Do you think that mindfulness is time consuming or hard? It’s not. In fact, it’s pretty darn easy. And per the definition below… it only takes a moment. You will be amazed at what a positive difference it can make in your day. So go ahead. I dare you. Start your Monday with a Mindful Moment and see what happens.

Mindfulness living in moment

Willing to give it a try but still aren’t sure what I’m talking about? Try one of these exercises during the day to bring you back to the present and reap the benefits of less stress, better focus and renewed clarity.

The Gift of Water

Most of us are blessed in our ability to easily and quickly obtain clean water for bathing, drinking and cooking.

Each time you find yourself using water today, take a brief moment to have gratitude for this gift.

The Air That You Breathe

We’ve all had biology class. We know that oxygen comes from plants and that we can’t exist without oxygen. But how often do we appreciate the fact that nature so generously provides us with this vital element?

The next time you step outside and breathe in the air:

  1. Be intentional about the moment.
  2. Become present and aware by giving acknowledgement to the simplicity and ease of the breath.
  3. Appreciate the partnership we have with the trees, plants and grass that make this action so easy.

Congratulations, you’ve just started a personal a mindfulness practice.
